Margherita Agnelli was an Italian socialite, businesswoman, and style icon. She was the daughter of Fiat founder, Giovanni Agnelli, and the sister of former Fiat chairman, Umberto Agnelli.

She is also the widow of the late Italian industrialist and politician Umberto Agnelli.

Margherita was born in Turin, Italy in 1930. She was educated at the Collegio San Giuseppe in Turin and the University of Turin, where she studied law. She began her career in the family business, Fiat, in the 1950s, and was appointed to the board of directors in 1975. She was also a director of the Agnelli Foundation, a philanthropic organization founded by her father.

In addition to her business career, Margherita was an active socialite and philanthropist. She was a patron of the arts, and was a member of the board of directors of the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. She was also a member of the board of directors of the Italian National Opera and the Italian National Ballet. She was a patron of the Italian Red Cross, and was a member of the board of directors of the Italian National Cancer Institute.

Margherita was married to Umberto Agnelli, the brother of her father, from 1953 until his death in 2004. Together, they had three children: Margherita, Ginevra, and Andrea.
