Stevie Wonder is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer. He is widely considered to be one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. He has won 25 Grammy Awards, making him one of the most awarded artists of all time. He has also been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Born in Saginaw, Michigan in 1950, Stevie Wonder was born blind due to a condition called retinopathy of prematurity. He began playing music at a young age, and by the age of 11 he had signed a record deal with Motown Records. He released his first album, The Jazz Soul of Little Stevie, in 1962. His first hit single, “Fingertips,” was released in 1963 and reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Wonder released a string of successful albums and singles, including “Uptight (Everything’s Alright),” “For Once in My Life,” “My Cherie Amour,” “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours,” “Superstition,” and “You Are the Sunshine of My Life.” He also wrote and produced songs for other artists, including “I Was Made to Love Her” for The Supremes and “You’ve Got a Friend” for James Taylor.

In 1976, Wonder released the album Songs in the Key of Life, which is widely considered to be one of the greatest albums of all time. The album won three Grammy Awards and was certified diamond, selling over 10 million copies in the United States.

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Wonder continued to release successful albums and singles, including “I Just Called to Say I Love You,” “Part-Time Lover,” and “You Will Know.” He also collaborated with other artists, including Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson, and Prince.

In 2009, Wonder was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama. He has also been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a Kennedy Center Honor.

Today, Stevie Wonder continues to perform and record music. He has released over 30 studio albums and has sold over 100 million records worldwide. He is widely considered to be one of the most influential and successful musicians of all time.
