Kousuke Masuda is a Japanese professional baseball player who currently plays for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks in the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB'>NPB) league. He is a right-handed pitcher and has been playing in the NPB'>NPB since 2014.

Kousuke Masuda was born on April 15, 1992 in Fukuoka, Japan. He attended Fukuoka Prefectural Fukuoka High School and was selected by the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks in the 2010 NPB'>NPB draft. He made his NPB'>NPB debut in 2014 and has since become a key member of the Hawks’ pitching staff.

In his first season in the NPB'>NPB, Masuda made an immediate impact, posting a 3.86 ERA in 28 appearances. He followed that up with a 3.45 ERA in 2015 and a 3.09 ERA in 2016. In 2017, he had a career-best 2.45 ERA in 28 appearances. He also had a career-high 11 wins in 2018, helping the Hawks to the Japan Series title.

Masuda has also been a key member of the Japanese national team, appearing in the 2017 World Baseball Classic and the 2018 Asian Games. He was also selected to the 2019 All-Star team.
